TCS NEW YORK CITY MARATHON – Run for Gladney’s Mission

Are you passionate about running and about creating brighter futures for children and families? If so, we invite you to be part of something extraordinary.

For the 12th consecutive year, Gladney has been selected as an Official Charity Partner for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 1, 2026. This partnership is more than an honor, it's an opportunity to advance Gladney’s mission of creating bright futures through adoption. Every mile run and every dollar raised helps ensure that women, children, and families receive the care, support, and advocacy they deserve.

We are assembling a team of 10 dedicated runners who believe in endurance, generosity, and the power of family. If that sounds like you, take a look at the criteria below:

Who We’re Looking For

• ♦  Individuals connected to Gladney, including Adoptees, Adoptive Parents, Siblings, Family Members, Birth Parents, Friends, or Staff
• ♦  Experienced marathon runners
• ♦  18 years or older
• ♦  Willing to fundraise $5,000+ to directly support Gladney’s adoption and family services programs
• ♦  Open to sharing your story and motivation publicly through photos, social media, and potential media features
• ♦  Able to personally cover all marathon-related expenses, including race registration, travel, lodging, and meals
• ♦  Available to pick up your race packet at the TCS NYC Marathon Expo, open October 29–31, 2026

A selection committee will review all applications, choose 10 runners to represent Gladney, and notify all applicants by April 10, 2026.
