Gladney’s Camp Forge is a 4 day, 3 night camping program serving Gladney adoptees. Campers will have opportunities to try new things, make friends, and explore ideas and issues that are unique to adoptees. A week of camp will be filled with games, laughter, learning, creating, growing, and exploring.

Eligible Participants:
Gladney adoptees ages 8-17 as of July 31, 2026

Cost per camper:
$550 before May 1st; $650 after May 1st

Dates: July 20th-23rd
Location: Camp Carter-Fort Worth, TX

Please Note: Camp Forge is a traditional outdoor high activity camp.  It includes extended walking and physical activities, exposure to Texas heat and sun, exposure to dirt and dust, sharing living space with other campers, and situations with high sensory input that may cause sensory overload for some children.  Camp Forge may be a stressful and challenging experience depending on your child’s needs.  Gladney’s goal is to provide a positive experience for our campers, but we also realize that Camp Forge may not be suitable for all children.  If you have questions about whether camp would be a good fit for your child, please contact Kati Silcox.
